Jennifer Strachan

Jennifer has worked in wealth management, finance and investments for over 25 years, and now combines working part-time as sustainability manager and investment advisor for IAM Advisory with Non-executive work.  She manages the incorporation of sustainable investing into the core of IAM Advisory’s investment process.

Jennifer is a sustainability champion, speaking frequently on the topic, and holds an IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction.

After a degree in Engineering and an MBA in Finance, Jennifer worked in investment banking, structuring and marketing derivative-linked products for private banks. In 1998, she moved to Guernsey, joining Rothschild Trust Guernsey where she set up and directed their Investment Services Group for international trust clients followed by a range of roles for Polygon Group and Heritage Group.  Most recently, Jennifer was CEO of Startup Guernsey. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Barclays Insurance Guernsey PCC Ltd, Member of the Office of the Data Protection Authority, co-lead of the Sustainable Business Initiative (Guernsey Chamber of Commerce), and on the IoD Guernsey branch Committee.

Jennifer is the IoD Guernsey's Sustainability champion.
