The IoD Guernsey Branch is hosting its first Connect event of the year on 4th February.
The after-work networking and drinks event, taking place at Good Rebel, has been organised to help leaders build valuable connections in the business, public sector and charity communities.
The IoD is committed to its membership promise to ‘connect, develop and influence’, and the February networking session continues its focus on building social capital in Guernsey.
“Networking is not just about making connections; it’s about creating a supportive ecosystem where business leaders can thrive,” says Glen Tonks, IoD Guernsey Chair.
“This year, the IoD will continue its efforts to protect and stimulate the island’s social capital. We believe our networks, relationships, and behaviours enable collective action and facilitate cooperation to achieve shared goals.
“We look forward to seeing some new faces as well as many of our regular event attendees at this session.”
The networking event is open to IoD members, non-members and the IoD’s Emerging Leaders community. IoD members are encouraged to bring along colleagues and friends.
