The Institute of Directors (IoD) is hosting a Meet the Members event for the newly elected Deputies. Members of the G8 associations are invited to attend the lunchtime session, sponsored by SkiptonInternational, at the Duke of Richmond Hotel on 26th June.
The G8 comprises the Chamber of Commerce, Guernsey International Business Association, Hospitality Association, Construction Forum, Institute of Directors, Guernsey Retail Group, Confederation of Guernsey Industry, and the Association of Guernsey Charities.
The groups have worked together recently to produce the Voice of Business Insights report, and this event is an opportunity for the new Deputies to network with the associations’ members.
Glen Tonks, Chair of IoDGuernsey, said:‘The IoD is looking forward to hosting this event for G8 association members and Deputies. We have committed to working collaboratively with the new States and hope this will be a positive session where the new Deputies can talk to the associations and the people they represent.
‘The Voice of Business Insights report set out the expectations and hopes for this new term, and the G8 is keen to open discussions around the six policy areas identified in the survey.’
