Jesufemi Ayoola

Jesufemi Ayoola has experience across a range of industries and sectors, including oil and gas, banking, funds, private client, investment and real estate. His background spans technical, operational and governance roles, with experience working with international organisations, leading teams and contributing to the delivery of complex projects.

He began his career in the oil and gas industry with Ariosh in Nigeria, coordinating As-Built engineering projects for major companies, including Mobil and Chevron, alongside exposure to real estate activities. He later transitioned into financial services, where he built broad experience across investment operations, foreign exchange, client engagement and risk oversight within banking, funds and private client environments.

He is currently Head of Risk and Compliance at Stonehage Fleming, where he contributes to risk and compliance oversight and supports the firm’s regulatory and strategic priorities. He is on the governing board of two schools and also serves as a director of a local charity in Guernsey, reflecting his interest in community development, particularly in relation to children, education and sustainability.

Jesufemi is a multi-award scholarship recipient. His professional qualifications include PRINCE2, the CFA ESG Certificate and Investment Foundations Certificate, SAFe Agilist certification, a Diploma in Anti Money Laundering, and an MSc in Management. He is currently undertaking the STEP Diploma and an Executive MBA at Warwick Business School, with a focus on artificial intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainable innovation.

Outside of work, he enjoys football, table tennis and playing musical instruments, and is currently learning to swim.
